The City of Parkland is hosting its annual Back to School Splash Bash, a fun-filled community event featuring music, games, food, and plenty of water slides for families of all ages.

We are looking for CERT volunteers to assist with the following critical roles:

• Public Education Table: Engage with residents, hand out informational materials, and promote community safety and emergency preparedness.

• Hydration Support: Provide water to event staff so they stay safely hydrated throughout the event.

Come help us support our community while keeping everyone safe and informed!

Join us for this month’s hands-on training session, where we will be conducting a live Search and Rescue (SAR) Drill. This practical exercise is designed to keep your field skills sharp and ensure our team remains deployment-ready.

We are looking for volunteers to staff the CERT Public Education Table during Home Depot's Kids Workshop. Join us for this opportunity to engage with our local community, share fire safety information, and showcase what CERT is all about. 

Help us build a more resilient community while taking in the sights, sounds, and authentic Bavarian fare of the Coral Springs Oktoberfest! We are looking for enthusiastic CERT members to staff our public education table. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with our neighbors, share vital disaster preparedness tips, showcase our emergency response training, and recruit new members to the team.

This event will have 2 shifts - members are welcome to volunteer for either or both shifts.
