 This event satisfies  one event to maintain active CERT Member Status. 

 Parking is available at the City Hall Public Garage

The following road closures will begin at 5 p.m. on the parade day and will remain closed until approximately 10 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Local traffic will be impacted but residents will still have access to their community.

• Sample Road just west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue
• Coral Springs Drive, north of Royal Palm Boulevard and south of NW 37th Street

Help educate the public about the training and servcies Coral Springs Parkland CERT provides to the Community

 This event satisfies  one event to maintain active CERT Member Status. 

Coral Springs Parkland CERT hosts a live one hour webinar to educate the public on life saving strategies and describe FREE training available prior to each CERT Basic Training Academy. The next live webinar is January 17, 2026. 

High School students age 14 and older will be eligbile to earns service hours for taking the Basic Training Academy.

The areas of training include:

•  Disaster Preparedness
•  Fire Safety
  
• CERT Organization
• Disaster Medical Operations
• Light Search and Rescue
• Disaster psychology
• Terrorism
• Triage

On demand learning will be complimented by in person training  from 8AM -12PM on:

February 21, 2026

Graduates  will have the opportunity to  join the team after satisfying the prerequisites.
